Call for papers: The War in Ukraine and Academic Challenges

Russia’s military invasion of and war against Ukraine has caused enormous human suffering and material destruction. The situation also raises a number of academic and scholarly issues. Arctic Review on Law and Politics’ multidisciplinary focus makes the journal well suited for discussing and analyzing such issues and serving as a platform for disseminating pertinent knowledge on the situation in the Arctic and nearby regions at this critical juncture. In this regard, the editors are now planning a special, thematic series and hereby issue an open call for papers.

The journal is particularly interested in submissions from academics and scholars in areas affected by conflict, economic recession, and energy shortages, although all are welcome to contribute. Both original scientific articles (subject to peer review) and shorter, news and debate articles (not peer-reviewed) will be considered.

The deadline for submitting a manuscript is 15 November 2022.

Author guidelines can be found here.
Information on publication fees (and fee waivers) can be found here.
